I am Mika Gabriel

– with guitar, cajón, loop station and my voice, I create live music – uncut, in the moment, and therefore a little different every time. Musically, I move between folk, indie, pop and classical music, between covers and my own arrangements.

At the heart of it all is a simple message:

Try to listen – to the things that can’t be said and the messages that aren’t heard.

I am deeply interested in the act of listening – to subtle nuances, to complexity, to everything that is not immediately visible or easy to understand. And beyond music, I believe we need more space for voices and perspectives that are often overlooked, that get lost in the noise of everyday political debates around migration and social division. Topics such as climate change, extreme social inequality, and the fight against extremism move me deeply.

I want to create space for these perspectives. I am committed to the idea of a society with more genuine exchange beyond our own echo chambers, with stronger solidarity toward the most vulnerable, and with more courage for change. I am convinced that every single one of us has the potential to stand up more for what is beautiful and good in our society – for a world in which we learn to truly listen again, to see and understand one another, and to take shared responsibility. A world in which we become part of the solution, not part of the problem.

My music is meant to be a space where this becomes tangible: listening, connection, and humanity. My concerts are intended to feel like honest conversations – alive, close, and open, but also unafraid of clarity, honesty, and doubt.

That is why it is also very important to me to support initiatives, associations, and projects that do invaluable work in and around our communities. For organizations working on environmental protection, social justice, democracy, animal welfare, and social cohesion, I offer concerts free of charge.

In addition to stage performances and private events, I also perform as a street musician – stripped down to the essentials and close to the people. Thanks to my mobile setup, I can play completely self-sufficiently and without any power supply, transforming almost any place into a space of musical encounter.

I hope that my music is not only something that entertains, but that it can be a small part of something bigger – part of a movement towards change, towards a world in which we learn again to truly listen and resonate with one another.
